Like Oz popping out of our rolling mountains, teeming with excited shoppers and the occasional non-shopper with glazed over eyes, is Settlers Green Outlet Village, North Conway, NH.
This North Conway Outlet Mall is home to over 60 brand name stores with more on the way! And it's tax-free!!
Shopping at North Conway Outlets is one of everyone's favorite things to do in North Conway!
Settlers Green was built in 1988 on the former site of the White Mountain Airport. You can see one of the original hangars on the left as you drive into the entrance off Rout 16.
In addition to outlet stores the mall has several North Conway restaurants. Two food kiosks are open during the warmer months (April - November). There's a food truck and streetside spots to purchase fast food.
There are no chain restaurants in Settlers Green. Be adventurous and try some delicious locally sourced and cooked food!
If you're looking to sit down and regroup with a snack or a beverage before tackling more outlet shopping, pick Brandli's Pizza and Grille. They offer full service dining, are open daily and have been a favorite restaurant in North Conway for many locals.
For dessert, check out the White Mountain Cupcakery. Their specialty is obviously cupcakes (they're delicious and pricey!) but they also sell a variety of pastries and coffee drinks.
During different times of the year, Setters Green Outlet Mall hosts sidewalk sales and the deals are out of this world!
North Conway outlets were one of the first malls in the country and they really made this area a four season resort area.
It's amazing many great deals you can get when you pick and poke in the stores and shops. I know that outlet stores are getting a bad rap that they are no longer true outlets but I'd have to disagree about the North Conway outlets!
If you have little tykes in toe, check out the playland areas scattered about. I love hearing the children's laughter when I go there. Can you tell I'm baby deprived? Ha!
The Outlet Mall is handicap friendly and there are many benches and chairs to rest your tired legs and feet.

Starbucks - 603-356-6860 What can I say? You won't see many local vehicles in the drive-through but obviously it's popular with the out of towners! I know they serve consistent products but their hot and cold beverages and baked goods are wildly over-priced. There are many locally owned and operated coffee shops and small restaurants that serve up quality beverages and baked goods. Be brave and try one of them! (Frontside Grind, Priscillas, Stairway Cafe, Banners and North Conway Country Club to name a few)
Stonewall Kitchen - Creators of Specialty Foods 603-356-3342 If you're looking for a great gift idea or are in need of some specialty items, this is the place for all things special! This store has bailed me out many times when I'm stumped about what to bring for a hostess gift or to a themed party.
Subway - 603-733-5777 Yep, it's a chain restaurant. If you're looking for consistent good and reasonable prices - SKI Subway and pick a local restaurant instead!! That's all I'll say.
Talbots - 603-356-8830 This is the store to check out if you're looking for great deals on timeless clothing. OK, maybe it's not timeless but you can be sure that if it's Talbots, it's not going to go out of style in a few months!

White Mountain Cupcakery - 603-730-5140 This is one of North Conway's claim to fame small business. A few years ago they won a nationally televised contest for the number 1 cupcake! If you're looking for gourmet cupcakes, this is the place. They are fresh, delicious and pricey. Choose wisely!
Yankee Candle - You know what they sell. Ha! Check out the prices at the outlet store.
