Gorgeous Views From Every Ski Mountain in North Conway

Since the world is changing around us it's important to have a successful vacation, and part of that is knowing about protocols regarding the many different things to do in North Conway, NH.

Now, I don't know if you know this but the White Mountains of New Hampshire are extremely infamous for fantastic skiing and snowboarding. With the new season upon us each mountain has their guests safety and health at the forefront of their minds and this is how they're doing their part!

Pre-prepare yourself! Do research on the resorts your planning on visiting but keep a few things at the ready:

  • Bring masks (for kids too!)

  • Check out the resorts protocol for bags. Some don't have fully open lodges so you may need to check it, store it in a designated area or leave it locked up in your car.

  • There may be restrictions regarding cafeterias, bars and restaurants at certain resorts but they are open and accessible.

  • Check to see if the ski area you're planning to attend requires proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test. If it does be sure to bring either or both depending on what they require!

  • In general most resorts are planning to load chairlifts to capacity and do not require masks - even unrelated parties are able to ride the lifts together.

  • Masks are optional outside, and some gondola's may require them or have capacity restrictions.

  • Ski areas must follow local public health regulations and some may have stricter regulations in place (remember they are private businesses).

  • Most resorts require masks indoors.

  • Some ski areas require vaccinations for all employees, some are also requiring vaccinations for guests in specific areas (mostly dining). Be sure to do your research beforehand so you bring all of the necessary paperwork with you! You don't want your plans foiled by poor-planning. Now get out there and have fun!

Here are the protocols and safety requirements provided by the individual mountain resorts in the North Conway, NH area.

This mountain is at a height of just over 1,000 feet with 2 chairlifts, 2 surface lifts and one rope tow.
